Pembroke Park PM Food Sorting Shift
Feeding South Florida is committed to serving indivduals, families and older adults experiencing food insecurity and we are doing all we can to care for our community during this crisis. Volunteers will assist with the inspecting, sorting and repacking of donated food. We may also be building food meal boxes for distribution. If you are in good health and wish to serve please sign up for any of our volunteer shifts.
We are back at our main warehouse 2501 SW 32nd Terrace , Pembroke Park, Fl 33023. Please follow the signs to enter on the north side of the building
Feeding South Florida takes safety seriously and follows CDC protocols. We can only do our work by adhering to health requirements.
We ask that all volunteers help keep our team and each other safe by staying six feet apart, wearing masks and gloves, and refrain from touching – even elbows or feet – as a way of greeting one another. It's a food service mandate to follow these protocols. We are providing gloves but are not able to provide masks.
We do not endorse, encourage, or authorize group photos at our distributions or warehouse of people who are not socially distancing and volunteering safely. Thank you for helping us protect each other and ourselves.
Please plan on arriving 15 minutes early at 1:15pm for check-in and orientation.
